Many of you have already asked great questions referencing our paleo challenge that's fast approaching. Some of you will have questions in the near future. First I highly encourage everyone to print out the "Zone Meal Plan" (link below) and bring it on Sunday and/or class to ask questions especially if this is your first time eating Paleo/Zone. Then check out some of the website below to find some recipes that look yummy to you. You can also ask your fellow CrossFitters what they like to eat, how they shop, etc. Many of them have great tips.

Also, Sunday is our Paleo Potluck from 11-3. See details on our Facebook "events" page here

Here are a few more websites and recipes (from our last taste test) that might help you find the info you're looking for concerning Paleo and Zone:

   Blueberry Breakfast Delight!

Measurements below are for a 2 block meal. Multiply as needed for your block structure EXEPT for the Stevia which will remain at one level scoop for any number of blocks.
1/2 cup frozen blueberries
2T Whey Protein (Chocolate or Vanilla)
1T Cocoa Powder (unsweetened)
1 level scoop of Stevia (do not add more for multiple blocks)
4 oz unsweetened Almond Milk
6 cocoa roasted almonds (Emerald Brand-keep them in your freezer for maximum freshness)
Stir and devour!
For a shake, same thing, but eat the almonds on the side. If your shake is too thick don't be shy to add cold water until you have the desired thickness.

Leslie's

Broccoli Salsa for two
2 Cups raw broccoli (frozen or thawed is fine)
1/2 Avocado
1/2-1C Salsa (Pace picante is my Fave, but if you want to be totally legit, you can use stewed tomatoes)
1T Garlic (Fresh or out of a bottle)
1/2C Water (give or take depending on what kind of broccoli you use. Use none if they are frozen.)
1 Jalapeño (more if you like it hotter!)
Serve with red or green cabbage "chips"
